About The Position

This is an opportunity within the Strike Initiatives (SI) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) as a P3 Principal Finance Analyst, Program Cost Controls supporting the Defensive Systems program area. The Defensive Systems portfolio covers a wide array of products in various lifecycles including EKV, RKV, and NGI programs. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position. In this role, you will have opportunities to collaborate with key functional stakeholders including Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and customers. This position will offer relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience with MS Office, SAP (APEX and/or Prism) and/or similar ERP financial systems.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing EAC’s, budgets and forecasts including variance analysis
  • Experience with government financial CDRL submissions including CFSR, FMER, CCDR, etc.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills; the ability to multi-task and work independently and with some supervision and oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, problem solving skills
  • Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures
  • Experience with meeting critical deadlines, data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Development of EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support
  • Prepare detailed CDRLs in support of contract requirements (such as CFSRs, FMERs and CCDRs)
  • Assist with organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation, labor and cost transfer submittals
  • Initiating and reconciling cost-type invoicing, interfacing with Order to Cash team.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial requests and special projects.
