About The Position

GCI is seeking an expert-level Technical Targeter to plan, execute, and coordinate cyber projects. The successful candidate will work independently to support cyber programs by understanding mission needs and implementing cyber solutions. The position requires significant experience working with stakeholders and advising them on successful courses of action. The role involves ongoing management of targeting efforts in coordination with missions, project support, mission-requirements documentation, technical research and targeting support, and travel to provide field support.

Requirements

• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex mission-critical ideas effectively to audiences with varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in computer and network systems.
• Demonstrated experience with network security concepts and applications.
• Demonstrated experience with computer network infrastructure devices.
• Demonstrated experience supporting projects with Sponsor.
• Demonstrated experience with computer network concepts and tools.
• Demonstrated experience conducting technical analysis and supporting technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience using a wide range of targeting tools.
• Demonstrated experience in technical targeting analysis and providing leads and packages.
• Demonstrated ability to strategically brainstorm project, technical, and administrative requirements across multiple collection projects.
• Demonstrated experience with emerging technology in workflows.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 11 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold an active/current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing targeting efforts in coordination with missions and exercise sound judgment in providing support.
• Support cyber projects, including identifying and documenting mission requirements.
• Maintain current skills and accesses with technologies.
• Review, create, format, and edit classified and unclassified correspondence.
• Create, format, coordinate, and monitor correspondence through official and informal Sponsor communication systems.
• Travel to provide support to the field.
• Integrate research and targeting support for projects.
