Cyber Operational Planner
About The Position
Peraton seeks a Cyber Operational Planner to provide policy and strategic planning support for USSPACECOM. The role is located at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The planner engages senior leaders to develop and communicate strategies and priorities, advises on cyber policy and planning, and supports integration across cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, and information warfare. The position also fosters international partnerships and provides research, programmatic, administrative, and resource support for organizational and mission planning, policy, doctrine, and technical support.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a Ph.D.
- Experience in cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, and/or information warfare.
- Familiarity with cyberspace operations, strategy, and policy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with intelligence-driven cyber-defense planning and Joint Cyberspace Operations, including Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO).
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and other special classified accesses.
Responsibilities
- Engage with senior leadership to develop and communicate strategies and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align efforts with overall mission objectives.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on cyber policy and planning.
- Advise on integrating cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, and information warfare.
- Foster international partnerships and alliances in the cyber domain for space systems.
- Provide research, programmatic, administrative, and resource support for organizational and mission planning, policy, doctrine, and technical support.
