About The Position

Tyonek is seeking individuals to instruct Military and Government Civilian students in Defensive Cyber Operations skills. Cyber Instructors must pass the course they are hired to instruct in; courses range from 2 weeks to 9 weeks in length. Cyber Instructors must pass a 2-week Instructor Methodology Course (how to be an instructor). Cyber Instructors must pass Instructor evaluations to become qualified as an instructor and maintain qualification. This job is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Associate's degree in a related area is required.
IAT/M Level II certification is required.
Top Secret Clearance/SCI required.
Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.

Pass a 2-week Instructor Methodology Course.
Pass Instructor evaluations to become qualified as an instructor and maintain qualification.
3 years' experience in the field of Cyber Warfare/ Defensive Cyber Operations is desired.
AF Cyber Weapon System experience and/or Cyber Protection Team Experience is preferred.
The following certifications are desired: GNFA, GCIH, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, Sec+.
