Brown & Brown’s Risk Solutions team, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Cyber Broker, Senior Vice President to join the Cyber Practice in Atlanta, GA or remotely. The Cyber Broker, Senior Vice President will be responsible for Cyber and Tech E&O placements (primarily Cyber) in the large account space (focusing on client revenues over $1B). The ideal candidate has 8-15 years Cyber experience on the brokerage side and is looking to expand capabilities by being directly client facing as well as develop key market relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree including but not limited to Business and/or Risk Management, and/or 8 to 15 years of related insurance experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate state brokers licenses.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to develop sound relationships with clients, underwriters, and other vendors.
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance legislation, rules, laws and other regulations
  • Ability to use initiative and good judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors/Must possess critical thinking skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships and to function in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead client and/or market discussions.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • CPCU and/or ARM
  • Knowledge of ImageRight and AMS 360.

Responsibilities

  • Broker cyber accounts and assist other brokers and producers by attending meetings to identify and quantify cyber and technology risk for companies and prospects.
  • Contribute to new and existing accounts by demonstrating cyber and technology products and services.
  • Bridge the gap between CISOs and Risk Managers to understand, communicate and assess cyber risk to refine decisions on purchase of cyber insurance programs and communicate same to management.
  • Responsible for placement of business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and assist in new business prospecting.
  • Analyze client’s loss exposures and determine coverage needs.
  • Maintain appropriate state brokers licensing.
  • Manage daily transactions for an assigned book of business (i.e., audits, adjustments, endorsement requests, coverage analysis, open items, etc.).
