Full-Time CVT Surgery ACNP | Weekends Required| No Call | The Oklahoma Heart Institute (Tulsa, OK)
About The Position
Join a nationally recognized cardiac program at the Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI)! We’re hiring a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our growing cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team in beautiful Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is an inpatient-focused position where you will collaborate with surgical APPs and work alongside a team of 6 surgeons (3 cardiothoracic, 3 vascular) and 14 APPs. No call coverage is required, though paid call coverage is available on an optional basis. The role utilizes Epic EMR to streamline documentation and improve work-life balance. The team is committed to growth, with plans to expand the vascular surgery department.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible ACNP or PA
- Experience in Cardiology, CVT Surgery, or Surgical preferred
Responsibilities
- Work 4x10s or 3x12s – Saturday and Sunday required
- Inpatient focused position
- Collaborate with surgical APPs
- Work alongside a team of 6 surgeons (3 cardiothoracic, 3 vascular) and 14 APPs
- No call coverage required (paid call coverage is available on an optional basis)
