About The Position
The CVOR Tech works in Surgical Services, supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures. The surgical services department includes 23 operating rooms and one procedure room and performs elective and emergency surgeries for adult and pediatric patients across a variety of service-specific specialties. Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility. First-time travelers are accepted if they have 2–3 years of experience in a busy CVOR to pass screening. The position includes one call shift per week and one full weekend per month.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience is required.
- Must have NBSTSA and NCCT certifications.
- EPIC charting experience is required.
- Must be more than 75 miles from the facility.
- First-time travelers must have 2–3 years of experience in a busy CVOR to pass screening.
