About The Position

The CVOR Tech provides surgical support for cardiac and vascular procedures, as well as trauma cases, in a surgical services environment. The role involves scrubbing for every case and supporting procedures across adult through geriatric populations. Surgical services include multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent procedures, including vascular, general, neurosurgery, orthopedic, urology, EENT, OB/GYN, plastics, OMF, trauma, dental, pediatric, neonatal, endoscopy, and organ harvesting. The position works 10-hour day shifts from 0630 to 1630, with call two days per week and every third weekend. The technician may float to the Main OR and Vascular OR as needed. The manager determines scheduling, and unit orientation is 40 hours. Scrubs are provided.

Requirements

At least 1.5 years of experience.
Traveler experience required.
Experience working with adults through geriatrics.
Experience in CVOR and trauma work settings.
Experience with cardiac and vascular surgery cases.
BLS certification.
NBSTSA certification.
Call two days a week and every third weekend.
Work weekends when needed.
