About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Glenwood Springs, CO. This position involves preparing and maintaining sterile surgical environments, assisting surgeons during cardiovascular and hybrid Cath Lab procedures, and ensuring compliance with aseptic technique. The role also includes participating in rotating call schedules and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
• Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR CST experience required
• Active Colorado Surgical Technologist License (DORA) required
• CST Certification through NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT required
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Nice To Haves

• Hybrid Cath Lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for CVOR procedures
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and hybrid Cath Lab procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Ensure compliance with aseptic technique and sterile processing standards
• Participate in rotating call schedules and emergency surgical coverage
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR nursing teams
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and operating room preparation
• Support efficient turnover between surgical procedures
