About The Position
Performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Formal cardiovascular technology training.
- One year of health care or cardiac catheterization lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures.
- Assist the physician during procedures.
- Assist nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
- Maintain equipment and perform quality control.
- Clean and package instruments and supplies for sterilization.
- Assume the role of monitor tech as needed.
- Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
