About The Position

The Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for operating a variety of cutting and material-processing equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines. This role ensures materials are accurately cut within established tolerances while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position requires operating industrial equipment and regularly lifting and moving materials throughout the shift.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work instructions, and production specifications.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow established safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move materials weighing up to 100 pounds throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Previous cutting machine, production equipment, or manufacturing experience.
Experience operating equipment such as panel saws, table saws, die cutters, routers, slitters, guillotine cutters, or similar machinery.
Experience performing quality inspections and working within production tolerances.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience in the printing, packaging, POP display, or manufacturing industry.
