About The Position

The Cutover Coordinator will lead and coordinate the OCI migration from a cutover perspective and also support VA Off Cycle releases. The role establishes centralized coordination for cutover plans, timelines, dependencies, and activities across the Integration Team and cross-functional teams. It coordinates the full cutover lifecycle, from pre-go-live preparation through post-go-live support, and helps ensure activities are completed on schedule and comply with release governance and standards. The coordinator also manages production interface validation before, during, and immediately after cutover, and serves as the central point of contact for cutover communications and project leadership status updates.

The position addresses inadequate cutover staffing for OCI migration and continuing VA Off Cycle releases alongside existing VA market/site and cube releases. Without dedicated coordination, plans, dependencies, lifecycle activities, and cross-functional work may not be managed, increasing the risk of an unsuccessful or disrupted cutover.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed cutover plans, including timelines and task dependencies.
• Coordinate the full cutover lifecycle, from pre-go-live activities through post-go-live support.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Release Managers, Configuration Management, and Change Management to align cutover activities and ensure they are executed on schedule.
• Serve as the central point of contact for cutover-related communications and provide regular status updates to project leadership.
• Manage and ensure successful completion of production interface validation prior to, during, and immediately following cutover.
• Ensure cutover activities comply with release governance and standards.
• Coordinate cutover activities for the OCI migration and VA Off Cycle releases.
