POSITION SUMMARY Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and/or clients by serving as subject matter expert, an internal advocate and a client liaison. Provide sales and marketing support to maintain customer satisfaction and improve and sustain business growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Minimum 3 years general customer service/administrative support experience in manufacturing environment preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate computers programmed with software and or Microsoft office.
  • Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain and engage in active listening.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to maintain organized files and workspace.
  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers by phone, electronic mail or in person to provide basic or advanced information in response to inquiries about orders, accounts or details of complaints.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details or inquiries, complaints or comments and actions taken.
  • Process Requests for Quote (RFQ) and track progress.
  • Perform contract review, acknowledge customer purchase orders and facilitate information to applicable departments.
  • Perform data-entry of purchase orders in applicable systems.
  • Keep customer updated on status of delivery, potential delivery deadline misses and/or movement.
  • Provide customer feedback to appropriate internal parties, including production, engineering, supply chain, etc.
  • Assist in troubleshooting customer inquiries and/or complaints.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers.
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephone calls and handling routine correspondence.
  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
