About The Position

The Customer Support Specialist will provide an exceptional order to invoice customer relations experience for assigned accounts. Work with customers to manage product availability and shipment consolidation in an effort to satisfy their requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to organize, assemble, and arrange resources to meet goals.
  • Skilled data entry and system navigation skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objective.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction and development of relationships with a wide-range of internal and external customers.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including strong keyboarding skills.
  • Experience with order related systems; SAP, product knowledge and configurations required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate information flow, orders, and shipments to meet shipping goals of the customer(s) and division(s).
  • Resolve escalated parts cases from our customer service associates.
  • Process orders and deliveries, manage calls and multiple email boxes independently.
  • Support and collaborate with sales and marketing, inventory analysts, distribution centers, credit, and transportation to facilitate order requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Toro product and support sharing knowledge and training with new employees.
  • Maintain best in class responsiveness to correspondence with internal and external customers.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and escalate any issues which would delay or impede prompt shipment of orders.
  • Has ability to make suggestions to avoid future issues.
  • Document and update departmental procedures.
  • Take lead in periodic projects and activities such as LEAN process improvements.
  • Complete ongoing learning and education to ensure competence with growing and changing needs of the corporation, while sharing learning with others.
  • High level of independence to resolve issues in SAP, export compliance, and Letter of Credit processing.
  • Ability to report to management activities and results of shipments.
  • All other tasks and projects as assigned.
