About The Position

SpaceX is hiring an entry-level individual contributor to support Starlink operations across Latin America. The role owns customer activations and billing from signed contract order through account setup, shipment, service activation, and accurate invoicing. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, familiar with regional invoicing and shipping processes, organized, accurate when handling high volumes, and accountable for getting orders live and billed correctly. The position may require working across time zones, including Latin American business hours, when shipments, activations, or billing deadlines require it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years of professional experience in operations, customer support, or process coordination.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work across time zones, including Latin American business hours, when customer shipments, activations, or billing deadlines require it.
  • Must meet applicable U.S. Government export-control requirements: be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting customer operations, order fulfillment, or billing in Latin America, particularly Mexico.
  • Understanding of regional shipping, logistics, customs documentation, and delivery processes.
  • Experience handling a high volume of orders or tickets without avoidable errors.
  • Clear communication and the ability to raise problems early with a dollar amount and next step.
  • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Experience building lightweight operational automations or reporting to reduce manual work.
  • Experience using an AI coding tool such as Claude Cowork, Cursor, Copilot, or similar to build a functional script, tracker, or workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders with accurate products, pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and billing details.
  • Set up customer accounts to enable hardware shipment, service activation, and accurate invoicing.
  • Coordinate shipments and resolve delivery or documentation issues with internal teams and local partners.
  • Support local invoicing processes, including Mexico’s CFDI electronic invoicing requirements, invoice validation, and reconciliation.
  • Track shipments, activation dates, and billing milestones; proactively flag delays or potential payment slips.
  • Maintain accurate systems and trackers so order status, risks, and pending items are visible and actionable.
  • Own past-due balances and unapplied cash on assigned work until fully reconciled.
  • Communicate with Spanish-speaking customers and internal teams to resolve operational and billing issues.
  • Identify and improve inefficient processes to streamline future orders.
