About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Success Consultant to join our team in Belgrade and support our growing customer base within the Academia and Government segment. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they achieve successful outcomes through adoption, retention, and growth. You will guide new customers through onboarding, identify upselling opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and value. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for helping customers succeed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including at least 3 years in client onboarding, retention, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Italian
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Academic research background and familiarity with Clarivate products, such as Web of Science
  • Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations
  • Proficiency in an additional language, ideally French or Spanish
  • Experience working independently in an international team

Responsibilities

  • Focus on enhancing successful customer outcomes including adoption, retention, and growth, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process onboarding activities for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and effective use of our products.
  • Identify and recommend upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with sales teams to close deals.
  • Provide bespoke demonstrations, presentations, and documentation to support renewals and new sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, through consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Track and prioritize customer-related activities to ensure effective management and follow-up.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, contributing to company visibility and customer engagement.
