About The Position

This role supports the Deployment Strategy group by building the structure that makes Deployment Strategists effective. This includes developing planning frameworks, renewal standards, portfolio reporting, and account intelligence. The role also supports Deployment Strategists on key accounts, aiming to improve both the structure and account outcomes. The position is designed for individuals with drive, ambition, and a quick learning ability, suitable for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of experience in a startup, consultancy, or fast-growth SaaS environment. The role offers a trajectory into Enterprise Deployment Strategy, with the objective of owning a named portfolio.

Requirements

  • Structured thinker: ability to take an ambiguous situation, break it into parts, and provide a recommendation.
  • Comfortable with data: understanding of CRM data models, field mapping, and large spreadsheets; ability to identify incorrect customer data.
  • Disciplined: ability to close commitments without constant follow-up.
  • Credible in writing: ability to write clear, direct paragraphs to VPs.
  • Quick learner: ability to quickly grasp complex product details.
  • Self-directed: ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and be accountable.
  • Ambitious: desire for a career in enterprise customer strategy.
  • Experience matters less than drive, ambition, judgment, learning speed, and team fit.
  • Recent graduates with a record of performance in competitive environments, or 1-2 years of experience in a startup, consultancy, or fast-growth SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in building the structure for the Deployment Strategists group, including planning frameworks, renewal standards, portfolio reporting, and account intelligence.
  • Support Deployment Strategists on key accounts.
  • Assist in running the operating rhythm of the Americas Enterprise team.
  • Contribute to the frameworks used by the team.
  • Transform portfolio data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Undertake projects that are deprioritized due to other team members' focus on accounts.
  • Prepare for renewals with the owning Deployment Strategist.
  • Update account plans and stakeholder maps after calls.
  • Compile Executive Business Review (EBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) content suitable for C-level audiences.
  • Track commitments to closure.
  • Gain fluency in the Planhat product through live customer environments and shadowing.
  • Progressively take on more account-facing responsibility.
  • Transition to a Deployment Strategist role with an independent portfolio.
