Customer Success Account Coordinator
About The Position
Roadtex Transportation, acquired by Echo Global Logistics in 2022, specializes in nationwide LTL transportation for time- and temperature-sensitive products. Its services use a nationwide network of 32 temperature-controlled facilities, tracking technology, specialized equipment, and warehousing capabilities. The acquisition expanded Roadtex's customer solutions and added its warehouse footprint and temperature-controlled transportation capabilities to Echo. The Account Coordinator manages daily operations for transactional clients and supports accounts by coordinating with internal and external partners to meet customer expectations. Duties include day-to-day support, data entry, document collection, verifying timely pickups and deliveries, resolving issues, following departmental standard operating procedures, and maintaining account profiles.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems when handling difficult customer issues.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures with little to no oversight.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills to assist external and internal customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and collaborate with others.
Nice To Haves
- Two-year community college or vocational degree.
Responsibilities
- Support a book of transactional accounts and execute tasks that contribute to each account's operational success.
- Provide operational support by prioritizing standard daily duties and ad hoc requests.
- Enter pickup and delivery requests for client shipments.
- Help resolve Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable issues.
- Work with Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to provide customer service to clients.
- Proactively communicate issues to the team.
- Manage relationships within accounts.
- Learn and use Roadtex/Echo technology to work efficiently.
