About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an energetic, team-oriented Customer Site Warehouse Support employee to facilitate the movement of product through a customer site. This entry-level position is based at the company’s branch at 269 S Ohio St, Minster, OH 45865. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for up to 28 hours per week. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and once performance goals are met. Fastenal distributes industrial and construction supplies and emphasizes employee development, promotion from within, and opportunities for advancement. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
Have a current, full, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.
Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience.
Prior experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
Move and handle products accurately.
Audit and prepare outgoing shipments to customer facilities.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations.
Participate in activities and programs that support the company’s health, safety, and sustainability objectives.
Learn, pass, and practice environmental health and safety trainings.
