About The Position

This is a permanent, non-hybrid position requiring in-office work at the Salem location five days a week. The Department of State Lands manages lands that fund public schools and protects the state’s waterways and wetlands. The Customer Services Specialist will be a member of the Support Services team, playing a vital role in department operations. The Support Services team is responsible for the administrative functions of the agency, providing clerical support including data entry, document preparation, record processing and maintenance, responding to inquiries, filing, mail services, and front desk reception. The primary purpose of this position is to provide front desk reception for the agency and a variety of clerical support for various program areas, serving as the initial point of contact.

Requirements

  • Completion of courses or training in Office Technology; OR
  • One year of general clerical experience which included typing, word processing, or other generation of documents; OR
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities
