About The Position

Fox Rent A Car is hiring front-line Ready Line and Return Agents to provide seamless rental experiences and support customer satisfaction. Return Agents welcome returning customers, inspect vehicles, record mileage and fuel levels, secure keys, ensure belongings are removed, report mechanical damage or other issues, complete paperwork, and review final rental charges with customers. Ready Line Agents maintain an organized vehicle staging area, clean and prepare cars for pickup, inspect vehicle quality, remove vehicles needing service, arrange exchanges or upgrades, verify checkout slips, assist customers with locating cars and handling luggage, and move or park vehicles as needed. Both roles may perform other duties assigned to support business needs and objectives.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong people skills.
Ability to troubleshoot with a positive attitude.
Patience and understanding throughout the rental experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome returning customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
Inspect returned vehicles for damage, record mileage, and verify fuel levels.
Secure vehicle keys and ensure customers remove personal belongings and luggage.
Complete and submit paperwork reporting mechanical damage or other vehicle issues to management.
Review final rental contracts and clearly explain charges to customers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable ready line area.
Clean, prepare, and inspect vehicles to ensure they are ready for customer pickup and meet quality standards.
Remove vehicles needing service from the ready line.
Facilitate vehicle exchanges, swaps, or upgrades based on customer requests.
Confirm that each vehicle has a completed checkout slip.
Help customers locate rental cars and assist with luggage when necessary.
Move and park vehicles within the facility to support efficient vehicle flow.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.
