About The Position

At Fox Rent A Car, Ready Line and Return Agents are part of the front-line team and help create seamless customer experiences. The role may involve serving as a Return Agent, a Ready Line Agent, or supporting both functions. Return Agents welcome customers returning vehicles, inspect the vehicles, secure keys and belongings, complete paperwork, and explain final rental charges. Ready Line Agents maintain the vehicle area, prepare and inspect cars for pickup, assist with exchanges and customer requests, and support vehicle movement at the facility.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong people skills.
Ability to troubleshoot with a smile.
Patience and understanding throughout the rental experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome returning customers in a warm, friendly, positive, and approachable manner.
Inspect returning vehicles for damage, record mileage, and verify fuel levels.
Secure vehicle keys and ensure customers’ personal belongings and luggage are removed safely.
Complete and submit paperwork notifying management of mechanical damage or other issues.
Review the final rental contract with customers and clearly explain charges.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable ready line area.
Clean and prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
Inspect vehicles against quality standards and remove vehicles needing service from the ready line.
Facilitate vehicle exchanges, swaps, and upgrades based on customer requests.
Confirm each vehicle has a completed checkout slip.
Help customers locate rental cars and assist with luggage when necessary.
Move and park vehicles within the facility to support efficient vehicle flow.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.
