About The Position

At Holiday Barn Pet Resorts, we provide daily care, play, and are an integral part of the lives of thousands of pets and their families. We offer fun, energized playgroups for dogs through our Doggie Day Care, and our Pet Grooming department provides baths, pedicures, stylish haircuts, and anti-shedding treatments. Our professional dog trainer offers training services for dogs needing manners or advanced education. All Pack members at Holiday Barn work together towards the company's mission of "Creating Joy in the lives of pets and their families." The Customer Experience Support/Runner position ensures positive relationships are developed and maintained with our furry guests and their owners. Pack members must be able to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift pets up to 30 lbs. We represent Holiday Barn through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, on tours, and at pet-related events. Members in Customer Experience Support/Runners are an intuitive part of our "pack" and work within our company's values and brand experience. Runners interact with customers and are one of the first friendly faces our guests see when they come into our lobby. Our Runners are an important part of the Customer Experience Pack. Our front desk associates rely on our Runners to keep the lobbies squeaky clean and guide our guests to and from their lodging areas.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk frequently.
  • Ability to lift pets up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate with leaving and in-coming pack members, peers, and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
  • Shows consistent initiative to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Candidates must have the ability to lift and push up to 50lbs.
  • Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Candidates must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch.
  • Ability to move pets within the facility, vehicles, up and down stairs, and in and out of enclosures.
  • Holiday Barn is a drug free workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that positive relationships are developed and maintained with our furry guests and their owners.
  • Represent Holiday Barn through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, on tours, and at pet related events.
  • Interact with customers and be one of the first friendly faces guests see when they come into the lobby.
  • Keep the lobbies squeaky clean.
  • Guide guests to and from their lodging areas.
  • Organize guest's belongings prior to departure to improve guest's check-in/out process.
  • Assist Customer Experience Associates on giving tours to current and potential clients (pet owners).
