About The Position

AAA Central Penn is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for their branch location in Harrisburg. This is a high-demand, customer-focused role where you will provide personalized, face-to-face support to members, build lasting relationships, and help them get the most out of their AAA benefits. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing to become a Notary Public in PA within 12 months (we’ll guide you through it)
• Ability to pass a PA State Police background check for PennDOT services
• Strong communication skills when helping customers in person, on the phone, or online
• Good listening skills and ability to make helpful decisions
• Comfortable adapting to new situations in a fast-paced environment
• Basic comfort using computers and multiple systems

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting members warmly and providing personalized support in a fast-paced branch environment
• Drive membership growth and retention by assisting with new memberships, renewals, and account updates
• Handle everyday member services, including maps, TripTiks, EZPass, and retail merchandise transactions
• Provide specialty services such as passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency
• Complete PennDOT services, including title transfers, registration, and licensing transactions
• Connect members to the right solutions by referring them to AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents
• Promote AAA products and services by identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience
• Maintain AAA’s high standards of service excellence, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional
