About The Position

Gate City Bank is looking for Customer Service Specialists to work for our Customer Service Center. This position answers a high volume of incoming calls and provides customer service over the phone regarding information on accounts, rates, products and services. This position also provides support for online banking, debit card, and general account questions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Candidate must demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Listen to the customer and respond to customer inquiries when they call into the Customer Service Center.
  • Sell and cross-sell products and services to customers that may benefit them per Gate City Bank guidelines and expectations.
  • Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
  • Assist other departments and offices with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and ownership in fulfilling customer requests.
  • Perform basic stop payments, disputes, pre-authorizations, and online password resets.
  • Must meet Customer Service Center Quality Performance standards.
