About The Position

Customer Service Specialists support the success of Sherwin-Williams retail stores by helping wholesale and retail customers identify their needs, answering questions about products, and recommending appropriate solutions. They resolve customer concerns, maintain current product knowledge, uphold product and store presentation standards, and work toward store sales goals. The role also includes sales transactions, inventory and display tasks, product tinting and mixing, equipment cleaning, and occasional delivery assistance.

The position is full-time at Store #707295, located at 7731 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003. Duties involve contact with customers, including potentially minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. A criminal-history review is required for business, operational, and safety reasons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring employment-visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
• Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities
