About The Position

CityVet is a compassionate veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality medical care and exceptional service to pets and their families. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Specialist to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for every client and patient. The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) is the first point of contact for clients visiting or calling the clinic. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, managing front desk operations, and supporting the veterinary team.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or reception experience preferred
  • Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable around animals
  • Basic computer and scheduling software skills

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and pets in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule and manage appointments
  • Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians regarding client needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
