About The Position

Securitas is seeking a Customer Service Security Officer to join their team. This role involves maintaining composure in high-pressure situations, conflict resolution, securing entrances/exits, conducting patrols, interacting with clients and guests, identifying safety issues, protecting evidence, and setting up barriers/signage. The position offers a flexible schedule with the potential for 40+ hours per week.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Must have 2 years security & customer service/hospitality experience.
Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Secure entrances / exits.
Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
