About The Position

Ibex Pittsburgh is hiring a Customer Support/Sales Representative to support customers and promote satellite internet services for a next-generation satellite communications company. The role handles inbound customer interactions, helping consumers connect to high-speed, low-latency internet in areas that may not be served by traditional broadband. Representatives educate customers about product features, identify connectivity needs, recommend service plans and hardware, and close sales while providing a positive customer experience. Paid training is provided.

Comfort using computers, multiple systems, and communication tools.
Flexibility to work various shifts depending on program needs.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound interactions to provide customer support and promote satellite internet.
Assist customers with equipment activation, password resets, service plan management, and general inquiries.
Complete service order requests and negotiate when needed.
Create a positive customer experience through empathy, patience, and attention to customer concerns.
Explain product benefits, including speed, reliability, installation details, and service availability.
Meet and exceed sales targets, conversion goals, and quality metrics.
Process orders, update customer information, and document interactions accurately.
Collaborate with leaders and trainers to improve product knowledge.
