About The Position
Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Customer Service Sales Associate for its Stone Center location in Indianapolis. This role is a key customer touchpoint, responsible for accurate order entry and smooth customer interactions. It requires multitasking across order processing, inventory accuracy, and logistics coordination to support delivery timelines. The role runs Monday through Friday, with overtime during peak seasons, and involves a mix of sales counter duties and other tasks supported by modern sales systems and an organized workspace.
Requirements
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
- Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures.
- Ability to work in varied conditions, including outdoor environments.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during peak season.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a customer service or sales role, including managing customer relationships with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Previous experience with irrigation or landscaping products.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients by phone, email, and in person while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
- Participate in cycle counts to contribute to inventory management.
- Communicate customer needs and special-order material requests to management and team members.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales team members to support efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate logistics to support delivery timelines.
