About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative with experience in home improvement sales. The role involves assisting customers with product and building-material needs and helping them select suitable products for their projects. Candidates with customer service, account management, retail, or inside sales experience are encouraged to apply. Product training is available for the right person.

The position pays $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience, and follows a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. Potential commission eligibility may begin after the initial 90-day period.

Requirements

• Previous sales, customer service, account management, or retail experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn product lines and develop industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, selections, and building-material needs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors, builders, and retail customers.
• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and ensure pricing and order details are accurate.
• Recommend products and help customers identify suitable materials for their projects.
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Maintain an organized, professional showroom and customer service area.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
