About The Position

Royal Shredding is seeking a Customer Service Route Driver/Mobile Shred Truck Operator for their Alpharetta, GA location. This hybrid role involves customer service, route driving, and physical work, operating a specialized shredding truck to service residential and business customers. It's ideal for individuals who prefer an active, independent role over desk work. The position offers regular clients, a mix of driving, customer service, and physical activity, with no CDL required. Full training is provided, and there are opportunities for overtime and bonus pay. Routes are local, with approximate 8 to 10 hour driving shifts, and occasional Saturday work may be required.

Requirements

High school or GED Equivalent (Required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Comfortable driving a commercial straight truck
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and stay organized

Responsibilities

Drive a company shredding truck to scheduled residential and business customer locations
Provide friendly and professional customer service during each visit
Collect confidential materials and securely shred them onsite
Deliver and install secure shredding containers when needed
Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress and scheduling
Maintain accurate service records using mobile route software
Safely operate a company commercial straight truck (non-CDL)
Ensure that fluid levels are maintained daily (ex. fuel, oil, transmission, hydraulic, coolant, brake, and DEF fluid.)
Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
Report maintenance issues promptly
