About The Position

Customer Service Representatives at Kirby Risk Electrical Supply work directly with customers, vendors, and teammates to ensure orders are accurate, products are available when needed, and customers receive the support they expect. In this role, you'll support customers and branch operations through a variety of responsibilities, including providing responsive customer service, partnering with outside sales representatives, coordinating with vendors, assisting with product promotions, and supporting daily branch operations.

Requirements

College coursework and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills
Ability to learn new products, systems, and processes
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work with multi-line phone systems and warehouse operations
Experience with inventory management and loading/unloading shipments
Must have legal status that enables you to work in the U.S. We cannot obtain sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience in business-to-business sales or electrical distribution preferred
Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

Provide responsive customer service by phone, email, at the counter, and through order processing
Partner with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and identify solutions
Coordinate with vendors to help ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule
Assist with product promotions, training opportunities, and other branch initiatives
Support daily branch operations, including: Counter and Inside Sales, Warehousing and Inventory Management, Vendor and Customer Communications, Order Entry and Product Support
