The Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of Copart practices to offer solutions and facilitate a unique customer service experience. The primary function is to obtain the release of vehicles from locations such as body shops, other facilities, and residences. The CSR also performs other office support functions as needed and serves as the initial point of contact for many customers, representing the company professionally. The position may expand to include chat and email customer support. Responsibilities include answering and making calls professionally, focusing on call resolution, utilizing company resources to gather information, and offering solutions to meet customer needs. Performance is measured on call quality, including knowledge, professionalism, and timeliness of follow-up calls. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Computer proficiency - MS Suite
  • Typing speed 45WPM
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Occasional overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Obtain the release of vehicles from body shops, residences, and other locations.
