About The Position
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative and are hoping to find someone with agronomic or horticultural experience. As part of this sales and service job, you will assist walk-in customers, receive showroom inventory, merchandise products, and learn a great deal about our products.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Nice To Haves
- Agronomic or horticultural experience
- Bilingual is preferred
- Experience with AS400 would be a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct front counter and telephone sales while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in inventory control of showroom inventory.
- Stock and merchandise shelves with products.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and perform general housekeeping functions, including the cleaning of floors, shelves, windows, and doors.
- Confer with new and established customer base; promote and take customer orders.
- Assist outside sales personnel to enhance communication with customer base.
- Contact customers in response to inquiries and notify them of promotional sales.
- Support the overall business success and needs of our customers.
- Perform a variety of various light office work.
