About The Position

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining the upkeep of assigned areas. The representative will also be responsible for reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, complying with safety regulations, and working collaboratively with team members. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all company protocols and procedures. The position requires professional communication with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers, as well as the ability to fill in during staff shortages and support shift leads. Understanding customer service and satisfaction, along with reporting systems and the work environment, is essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
  • Completed all safety and task training certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus
  • 3-6 months training or experience preferred
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • May be required to be forklift certified

Responsibilities

  • Perform janitorial duties
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
  • Fill in during staff shortage
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
