Position Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our operations in a heavy-duty vehicle upfitting environment. This is a mixed role that combines customer service, parts handling, documentation, and light warehouse support. Responsibilities go beyond answering phones and include counter walk-ups, processing in-store purchase orders, pulling parts, and staging outbound shipments. Our operation upfits bare chassis with dump bodies, platforms, work light accessories, and snow and ice removal equipment. Industry knowledge is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous customer service, parts, warehouse, or preferred counter experience.
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, chassis upfitting, dump bodies, platforms, work lights, or snow and ice removal equipment is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the service counter, by phone, and via email.
Handle counter walk-ups and process in-store purchase orders (POs).
Pull parts accurately based on customer orders and job requirements.
Stage and prepare parts and materials for outbound shipments.
Check in and process small parcel deliveries daily.
Help create and maintain necessary customer, order, and job documentation.
Coordinate information between customers, sales, production, and internal teams.
Resolve customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain organized work areas for parts staging and documentation.
Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
