About The Position

Norco is hiring a Combination Store Customer Service Representative to serve walk-in and phone-in customers. The role involves helping customers select and purchase welding, safety, and medical products and services, handling customer and patient account information, providing product and order details, and completing other tasks as assigned or necessary.

Requirements

• Good typing and 10-key skills.
• Working knowledge of home medical products, placement, availability, and pricing.
• Working knowledge of welding, gases, and supplies.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to accurately enter data into a computer and acquire working knowledge of software applications necessary to the position.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and enthusiastically.
• Answer telephone calls promptly.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, their placement, availability, pricing, and use.
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customers.
• Fit and sell medical products and services to customers.
• Continue education on industry billing criteria related to specific customer insurance requirements.
• Initiate and complete new patient referral information files and assist with setting up new accounts where applicable.
• Issue product sales quotes to customers.
• Track customer orders in the computer and interpret their status in the delivery process.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.
