About The Position

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehension, and communication in English is essential.
  • Candidates should possess at least 2 years of prior experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Email is advantageous, and proficiency in typing and 10-key skills is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
  • Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, including data gathering, information compilation, and report preparation.

Nice To Haves

  • While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it's not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and use operational systems proficiently.
  • Conduct customer interviews and accurately record information in the computer system.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and in person to process orders for installation, service changes, or discontinuations.
  • Complete contract forms, determine service charges, collect deposits, update address records, and issue discontinuation orders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Provide services to customers in a manner that fosters positive relationships.
  • Engage with customers and Waste Connections staff to address service requirements and resolve issues or complaints.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high call volumes, actively soliciting new or additional service sales.
  • Assist with reception desk duties when needed.
