About The Position

Chesterfield Community Corrections Services provides supervision, case management and supportive services to individuals under pretrial and local probation supervision in Chesterfield County and the City of Colonial Heights. We are seeking a dependable and motivated part-time Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced, high-volume Local Probation and Pretrial Agency. This front-line role serves as the first point of contact for the public and provides essential clerical support to multiple units within Community Corrections. This position is part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities and salary incentives, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

  • HS diploma/GED
  • One year of clerical/customer service experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong communication + organization skills
  • Comfortable working with diverse clients
  • Computer savvy + detail-focused
  • Flexible, positive, and ready to multitask
  • Current valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Based on the Virginia DMV point system, records must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twenty-four months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirty-six months. Out-of-state driving records must be obtained by applicant and presented at time of interview. Records must reflect at least three years of history and be dated within thirty days of interview date.
  • Must be eligible for CJIS + VCIN certification
  • Must be a US citizen or have been a lawful resident of the US for the past ten consecutive years.
