About The Position

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Health Licensing Office (HLO) is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative (Public Service Representative 3). This position plays a vital role in supporting the HLO Licensing Manager by overseeing authorization and renewal processes for the Board of Cosmetology. The successful candidate will review license applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is submitted and applicants meet established qualifications. By assisting both current and prospective licensees, this role helps the Health Licensing Office provide high‑quality customer service while maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in customer service.
  • One year of which must have included explanation of rules, regulations, and policies and responsibility for dealing with unique or unusual situations.
