About The Position

At the LCBO, we always have the right spirit! The LCBO is looking for Summer Customer Service Representatives available to work between May 4, 2026 and September 7, 2026. We are looking for great people who are passionate about delivering an engaging customer experience that keeps our customers coming back. If you’re interested in becoming a friendly and helpful go-to expert in our retail stores for Summer 2026 then this role is for you! As part of your paid training, you will learn about store operations, customer service, and product knowledge: wine, beer, ciders and spirits. As an LCBO Customer Service Representative, you will have a chance to inspire others and share your knowledge with our customers. This is an on-site role. The LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol. Through more than 650 retail stores, catalogues, special order services and more than 389 LCBO Convenience Outlets (LCOs), which provide cost effective, convenient and socially responsible access for rural consumers, the LCBO offers nearly 24,000 products annually to consumers and licensed establishments from more than 80 countries.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working with people (teammates and customers)
  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada (have a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Agree to complete a Criminal Background Check, at your own expense, before starting work with the LCBO
  • Available to work Friday (5:00 PM – Close)
  • Available to work Saturday and Sunday (available all day for a 4 to 8 hour shift)
  • Available to work Long Weekend Victoria Day weekend
  • Available to work Canada Day weekend
  • Available to work Civic Holiday weekend
  • Available to work Labour Day weekend

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers using our cash register system, promptly, courteously and responsibly, providing a positive and memorable customer experience
  • Ask for donations for our partner charities (our Spirit of Sustainability Campaign)
  • Participate in customer experience and postal code surveys
  • Receive product, replenish it on the shelves, face-up products
  • Ensure our store is clean, organized and safe for all (clean up spills and broken bottles)
  • Lift cases of various sizes and weights (up to 40 lbs/18 kg) repeatedly while standing for long periods
