About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to work as part of a supportive team and provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role includes helping customers with U-Haul products and services, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using smartphone-based technology to dispatch and return equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including ongoing learning through U-Haul University and certification opportunities for propane filling and forklift operation. The posting advertises two paid, hands-on working interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores. Requirements

Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
