About The Position

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining the daily upkeep of assigned areas. The position requires compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team members and respond to supervision. A key aspect of the role is to present a professional appearance and conduct, understand customer service and satisfaction, and utilize reporting systems effectively. Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Completed all safety and task training certification
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
  • Employee is frequently required to sit and talk or listen
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • May be required to be forklift certified

Responsibilities

  • Perform janitorial duties
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
  • Fill in during staff shortage
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
