About The Position

MicroMetl Corporation is currently the largest independent manufacturer of accessories for commercial heating and cooling equipment. We are forged from over 60 years of industry experience and service and continue to grow around the regions, including the mid-west and south-west. We are seeking a customer-focused and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our on-site Indianapolis team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, helping to resolve issues, answer questions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping others. Requirements

• A one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or six to twelve months of customer service or related experience/training (an equivalent combination of education and experience/training will also be considered)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
• Strong foundation in Microsoft Office applications, with a demonstrated proficiency in Excel
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, sharp analytical abilities, and sound decision-making capabilities

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience in manufacturing or related industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and providing accurate information
• Resolve customer concerns, process orders and account updates, and ensure timely issue resolution
• Maintain accurate customer records and escalate complex matters when needed
• Build positive customer relationships through professional communication and follow-up
• Partner with internal teams to meet customer needs and achieve service and satisfaction goals
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
• Protect the confidentiality of customer and company information
