About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, friendly person with previous medical customer service to round out our Patient Advocate team being a Customer Service Representative. This position will be located out of our Kearney Branch servicing the surrounding area.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing helpful.
  • AR/AP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients in person and over the phone, as well as maintain patient charts, process patient orders, create delivery tickets, and coordinate scheduling.
  • Work one on one with patients to educate them on uses and directions of prescribed medical equipment and supplies.
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other referral sources to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Complete file checklist, intake and insurance verification forms and determine charges and coverage for service/product requested.
  • Create and file patient records.
  • Collect co-pays and input payment data.
  • Collect compliant medical documentation for insurance invoices.
  • Maintain work operations by following company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to administer after hours call on a rotation schedule.
