About The Position

PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. At the Las Vegas location, the company makes Gypsum Wallboard. The Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher's role is to help manage customer orders and work with transportation companies to ensure deliveries are made.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two (2) years related experience and/or training

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience for a manufacturing company
• Previous dispatching experience
• Attention to detail and order entry experience

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming customer orders for materials and/or products from company employees or individual customers.
• Prepares order paperwork for shipment and/or secures freight carriers as required.
• Routes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
• May resolve routine issues with carriers, including customer complaints, liability issues, and rate discrepancies.
• Provides customer support by answering general product questions, directing customers to website, and distributing product brochures and samples.
• Enters purchase orders into SAP.
• Updates and maintains freight rate tables in SAP.
• Informs customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
