About The Position

The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB) is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for their South Clay Banking Center in Millersburg, Ohio. This position is located on-site and offers a competitive base wage along with a variety of employee benefits. The role involves providing exceptional service to customers and prospects, completing transactions, growing customer portfolios, and strengthening community relations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in a professional and caring manner, adhering to CSB Customer Service & Retail Ready! Standards and professional standards of dress and conduct.
  • Build rapport with customers by asking quality questions to help meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to CSB’s vision, mission, and core values.
  • Promote CSB by participating in community activities and representing the bank through professional and courteous conduct.
  • Utilize relationship banking principles and explain features/benefits of all banking products and services.
  • Recommend products and services that fit customer needs.
  • Complete customer transactions according to the Retail Services Handbook and bank policies.
  • Maintain cash drawer within acceptable limits and balance it at the end of each banking day.
  • Assist customers in accessing safe deposit boxes.
  • Provide customer referrals to bank personnel as appropriate.
  • Scan proof work to Deposit Operations and perform end-of-day duties such as utilities and cash advance item reconciliation.
  • Count and balance cash in automated teller machines (ATM).
  • Balance and complete regular maintenance on the coin machine.
  • Assist the Banking Center Manager in opening and closing the Banking Center.
