About The Position

Valley Cabinet is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Customer Service Representative with a technical mindset. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with specifications, order details, and problem-solving while supporting customers accurately and efficiently. The CSR is responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers by addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong customer service skills including active listening, interpersonal skills, communication, complaint resolution, empathy, and positivity.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Confident.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Expert in Microsoft office.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience in the cabinet or manufacturing industry and/or using cabinet design software would be a plus.
  • 3 years of experience working in an office environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge of products and manufacturing process.
  • Determine correct product based off customer’s custom order requests.
  • Provide technical product information and pricing to customer.
  • Process orders from quote through to shipping and invoicing.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide solutions by answering and discussing alternate product options.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Serve as back up scheduler.
  • Data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.
