About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1978. Our primary business is standard, next-day, ground delivery, with corporate headquarters in St. Cloud, MN. We employ over 1,800 people and have expanded throughout the Midwest. The Customer Service Representative will handle customer inquiries, investigate issues, and respond to concerns regarding shipments and services.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Professional telephone etiquette and good listening skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Customer service, administrative, or clerical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers via telephone or email in order to trace packages and arrange deliveries
  • Obtain details of customer complaints or compliments
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
  • Act as a liaison between customers and drivers to resolve delivery issues
  • Communicate with the claims department and branch managers to resolve discrepancies
  • Retrieve manifests and other shipper information to aid the process of tracing shipments
  • Document and record mis-deliveries, follow-ups, and alternate delivery addresses
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
